Today, Ampeg continues on as the leader in professional bass gear and a cherished manufacturer of classic guitar amplifier designs with a continuing tradition of advancing bass tone through quality & innovation. In 2006, Ampeg reentered the electric guitar market by re-issuing its cult classic Dan Armstrong lucite body guitar, bringing back one of the most innovative design concepts in modern guitar History.With its four 10" speakers and 1" horn, the Ampeg B-410HE can really rock the house. Suitable for most sizes of venues, the 8-Ohm enclosure features heavy-duty recessed handles and detachable casters, making it supremely portable. The extended range of the B-410HE makes it ideal for 5- or 6-string bass players seeking solid low frequency performance (all the way down to 40Hz), and shimmering top-end up to 18kHz.

The rear jackplate features two 1/4" jacks wired in parallel, allowing for easy daisy-chaining from one speaker to another. Either jack can be used as an input or a through connection. The 3-position HF Horn switch allows for full high frequency output (0 setting), -6dB reduction of the highs (-6 setting), and Horn shutoff (off setting).
